Sherpao terms CM Afridi’s remarks deplorable, warns against fanning sectarian sentiments

ISLAMABAD, Nov 09 (APP): Chairman Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Khan Sherpao has said that the recent statement of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was deplorable and would fan religious sentiments and sectarian hatred against the Army, which has been sacrificing its lives fighting the war on terror and safeguarding the country’s borders.

“The explanations given by his spokesman also do not hold ground, as the video has not been shown out of context. Being the chief minister, he should show maturity and responsibility by focusing solely on the problems of the province,” Sherpao posted on his social media handle X.
