LODHRAN, Nov 09 (APP): A minor boy drowned into the canal while playing near Jaladi Wahin Hasil Wala, tehsil Kahror Pacca on Sunday.
According to Rescue officials, a two-year-old Ali Nawaz s/o Muhammad Abbas, resident of Bridge Fareedabad was playing near canal bank when he fell down into the water.
Upon receiving the information, the Rescue quickly arrived at the scene and conducted a search in the 10-feet wide canal with 4 feet of water.
The boy was recovered and rushed to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
