MUZAFFARGARH, Nov 09 (APP): A suspected robber was injured, while two others managed to exchange after an exchange of fire with police in Shah Jamal area on Saturday night, police said.
According to a spokesperson, three suspicious persons tried to escape upon seeing a patrol team. When police chased them, the suspects opened fire. The police retaliated in self-defense, injuring one suspect identified as Kamran alias Raju, while his accomplices fled the scene.
The injured suspect was wanted in several robbery cases and had a record of 12 serious crimes, police added.
