People of Sindh pay tribute to poet of East: Murad Shah

KARACHI, Nov 09 (APP): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Iqbal Day said that the people of Sindh pay tribute to the poet of the East Allama Iqbal.
      He said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal was a great thinker, philosopher, and poet.
      The Chief Minister said that the poet of the East taught the lesson of selfhood and self-confidence.
     Shah said that Allama Iqbal’s thoughts are a beacon for the youth.
      The youth should adopt Iqbal’s philosophy of selfhood and play a role in the country’s development, he said adding that Iqbal’s concept of Pakistan gave the nation the awareness of freedom.
     Shah said that Allama Iqbal was a strong advocate of Muslim unity and had a deep connection with Palestine.
        He said that the current issues can be resolved by following Allama Iqbal’s teachings.
     On this day, we must pledge to put Iqbal’s message into practice, he stressed adding we must move forward united for Pakistan’s bright future.
