ISLAMABAD, Nov 08 (APP): The price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs600 per tola on Saturday as it fell from Rs 423,062 to Rs 422,462, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association told.
The rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined from Rs 362,707 to Rs 362,193, showing a reduction of Rs514 while the price of 10 grams 22-karat gold also went down from Rs332,493 to Rs 332,022, registering a fall of Rs471.
In the international market, gold prices dipped from $4,007 to $4,001 per ounce, showing a decrease of $6.
Silver prices also witnessed a decline. The price of 24-karat silver per tola reduced from Rs5,112 to Rs5,094, down by Rs18. The 10-gram silver rate fell from Rs4,382 to Rs4,367, a decline of Rs15.
In the global market, silver fell from $48.50 to $48.32 per ounce, marking a decrease of $0.18.
The Association stated that all gold and silver prices were calculated based on the interbank exchange rate.
