SUKKUR, Nov 08 (APP): DIG Sukkur Range, Capt (Retired) Faisal Abdullah Chachar on Saturday took swift action after a horrific crash on Mehran Highway Khairpur in which a woman and three children were killed.
Akri police post in-charge Sub Inspector Syed Azhar Hussain Shah was demoted to ASI and suspended for negligence, and the range office is being closed.
DIG Chachar warned all SHOs, post heads and staff on the highway that any future heavy-vehicle accidents due to negligence would lead to severe disciplinary and legal consequences.
