LAHORE, Nov 08 (APP): Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, on the birth anniversary of the Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, said that Iqbal’s philosophy and his concept of Khudi (selfhood) serve as a beacon of guidance for Pakistan’s youth.
He noted that Allama Iqbal instilled self-confidence and awareness among the Muslims of the subcontinent and envisioned an independent homeland, which today stands as the reality of Pakistan.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar added that Iqbal consistently urged the youth to shape their destiny through action, faith, and love, stressing that adherence to his vision can help Pakistan achieve new heights of development, stability, and prosperity.
The minister further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the provincial government is committed to implementing Iqbal’s ideals by creating opportunities in education, sports, and employment for the youth. He highlighted that the Punjab Sports Department is actively promoting healthy and constructive activities in line with Iqbal’s teachings.
Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar prayed that Allah Almighty grant the nation strength and wisdom to dedicate efforts toward realizing Allama Iqbal’s vision of a progressive and prosperous Pakistan.
