LAHORE, Nov 08 (APP): The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) conducted a vigorous province-wide operation against drug traffickers between November 3 and 7, recovering more than 51 kilograms of narcotics and illegal weapons.
Several suspects were arrested, and multiple cases were registered under the Punjab Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 2025.
According to the CNF spokesperson, the seizures included 10 kg of Ice, 21 kg of Opium, 17 kg of Hashish, 2 kg of Weed, and 1 kg of Heroin. Operations targeted districts including Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Multan, Sahiwal, and Bahawalpur.
Rawalpindi yielded 17 kg (15 kg Opium, 2 kg Weed), Dera Ghazi Khan 14 kg (10 kg Ice, 3 kg Hashish, 1 kg Heroin), Faisalabad 9 kg (6 kg Opium, 3 kg Hashish), Multan 6 kg (6 kg Hashish, 120 g Heroin, 70 g Ice), Sahiwal 4 kg Hashish, and Bahawalpur over 1 kg Hashish.
The spokesperson said these successes reflect CNF’s growing operational capability and professionalism, reaffirming its determination to continue anti-narcotics operations until Punjab is completely drug-free.
