GUJRAT, Nov 08 (APP): District Officer of Industries, Prices, Weights and Measures (IPWM) Gujrat, Rashida Batool, conducted an inspection of petrol pumps across the district and sealed two stations for short measurement of petrol.
According to the IPWM office, during the inspection, three nozzles dispensing excess fuel were identified and the pumps were immediately issued warnings to correct the issue. The challans for the sealed petrol pumps have been forwarded to the concerned civil court for further legal proceedings.
Rashida Batool reiterated that no leniency would be shown towards violators of measurement and pricing regulations. She emphasized that the district administration would continue taking strict action to protect consumers and ensure fair trade practices.
