ISLAMABAD, Nov 08 (APP): The landmark 27th Constitutional Amendment was introduced in the Upper House of Parliament on Saturday.
Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar presented the 27th Constitutional Amendment Bill 2025 in the Senate.
Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani referred the bill to the joint committee of both Houses — the National Assembly and the Senate for detailed deliberation and discussion.
Earlier, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry moved a motion in the House to suspend the regular agenda in order to introduce the 27th Constitutional Amendment.
