13 banned religious party workers sent to jail for identification parade

LAHORE, Nov 07 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday sent 13 workers of a banned religious party, involved in a case of attempted murder and terrorism, to jail for identification parade.
The accused, whose faces were covered, were presented before Administrative Judge Manzer Ali Gill. Police requested the court to conduct an identification parade of the suspects.
Accepting the request, the court sent all 13 accused to jail on judicial remand for the identification process.
The suspects were arrested in a case registered at Shahdara Police Station, where a mob had allegedly attacked the police station, leaving several police officials injured.
Among those produced in court were Mubashir Ali, Muhammad Salal, Muhammad Adnan, and Madad Ali, along with other co-accused.
