MULTAN, Nov 07 (APP): Chief Operating Officer (COO) Cattle Markets Management Company (CMMC) Muhammad Faisal visited cattle market in Luddan, Punjab’s fourth biggest market in district Vehari where he checked facilities and ordered action against elements involved in overcharging.
The COO checked animals’ food, water, and veterinary facilities and talked to the cattle traders.
Upon complaints of overcharging, he got the excess money returned to the cattle traders on the spot.
He said that facilities would be further improved at the Luddan cattle market that witnesses arrival of 7000-8000 animals daily.
He also met with ADCR Vehari and discussed with him the proposals of further expansion of the cattle market to introduce modern facilities and acquisition of more state land for the purpose.
