GUJRAT, Nov 07 (APP): The District Health Authority of Gujrat, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, carried out an operation against illegal medical practitioners and sealed three clinics while issuing a strict warning to one.
According to a spokesperson for the District Health Authority, Shifa Homeo Clinic and Imran Homeo Clinic in Tehsil Gujrat were found involved in unauthorized eye and dental practices and were immediately sealed.
Similarly, Kiran Maternity Home on Dinga Road, earlier sealed for illegal operations, was again closed for running an unapproved OPD.All cases have been referred to the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) for further legal action.
Meanwhile, a dental clinic was issued a warning over poor sterilization and hygiene conditions, while two other centers were found employing trained staff.
