SIALKOT, Nov 07 (APP):District Education Authority Sialkot Chief Executive Officer Mujahid Hussain Alvi said on Friday that Allama Iqbal awakened the spirit of selfhood, faith, and freedom among Muslims of the Subcontinent.
Addressing an Iqbal Day ceremony at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Regional Office Sialkot, he said Iqbal’s poetry serves as a simple interpretation of the Holy Quran, guiding youth toward faith, action, and moral excellence. He urged students and teachers to follow Iqbal’s message in their lives to build Pakistan as envisioned by the great poet-philosopher.
The event concluded with a special prayer for the nation’s progress and unity.
