RIPC concludes Smart City Expo World Congress participation

Riyadh, Nov 7 (SPA/APP): The Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC) concluded its participation in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 (SCEWC), held in Barcelona from November 4 to 6.
The event drew more than 25,000 attendees and more than 1,150 exhibitors, with representatives from more than 850 cities and 135 countries.
The participation culminated with RIPC being recognized among the top four finalists worldwide for the Governance and Economy Award at the World Smart City Awards for its “Road Resurfacing Governance” initiative, reflecting Riyadh’s effort to improve infrastructure delivery through institutional integration among service providers.
RIPC said the participation highlights Riyadh’s adoption of smart, sustainable solutions and supports Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to improve quality of life, enhance urban project efficiency and reinforce the city’s global standing in smart urban development.
