MUZAFFARGARH, Nov 07 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) seized 1200 kg of rotten meat from a slaughterhouse in Basti Chinna on Multan road on Friday.
According to a spokesperson,the raid conducted after a tip-off,found the meat stored for distribution across the city.The slaughterhouse was sealed and the owner,who remains unnamed was booked.
A case has been registered while further investigations was underway.
PFA Director Shahzad Maggasi warned slaughterhouse owners against illegal practices and stressed the importance of hygiene in business operations.
