LAHORE, Nov 06 (APP): Constable Asim Raza of Punjab Police, who recently won a gold medal at the International Bodybuilding Championship, called on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar at the Central Police Office, Lahore, on Thursday.
According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, IGP Punjab congratulated Constable Asim Raza on his remarkable achievement and presented him with a certificate of appreciation for bringing pride and honor to the country and the police department at the international level.
Dr. Usman said that Asim Raza’s success is a matter of great pride for the Punjab Police and the nation. He directed him to mentor and train other police bodybuilders to prepare them for upcoming national and international competitions.
The spokesperson said that Constable Asim Raza secured a gold medal and a professional card in the Classic Physique category at the International Bodybuilding Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Earlier, he had also won two silver medals in international events held in Las Vegas, USA.
Associated with bodybuilding since 2012, Constable Asim has earned several national titles, including Mr. Pakistan, Mr. Punjab, and Mr. Lahore.
The IGP added that Punjab Police officials who excel in national and international sports events are the pride of the department, as their hard work and dedication elevate Pakistan’s image on the global stage.
