FAISALABAD, Nov 06 (APP): The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has linked all property record under its control with the Punjab Urban Land Enhancement System ‘PLUS’, which is an important step towards innovation and transparency in administrative matters.
This was disclosed by the Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry during a meeting with experts of the PLUS system here on Thursday. The delegation comprises Senior Specialist Software Engineer Dr Rana Hamad Hussain, Consultant Software Quality Insurance Usman Barkat, FDA Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chatha and other officers were present on the occasion.
The DG FDA mentioned the success of the e-challan system and the real-time issuance of ownership clearance certificates of properties.
He said that the software is being further improved to deal with other administrative matters including issuing town planning reports in the shortest possible time.
He said that after digitization of records, several services are being provided online, due to which the applicants have got considerable relief.
The delegation said that they solve the problems faced to meet the administrative requirements of the authority.
