BRUSSELS, Nov 06 (APP): The Pakistan Embassy in Brussels organized a solemn photo exhibition at the Chancery on Thursday to mark Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Jammu (Jammu Martyrs’ Day).
The photo exhibition was held to pay heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of Jammu, who laid down their lives in November 1947 for their faith, dignity, and right to live in freedom.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Rahim Hayat Qureshi, ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Ambassador Qureshi emphasized that Pakistan will continue to extend its unwavering political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri people in their just and peaceful struggle for freedom, as pledged in the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
A special prayer (dua) was offered for Shuhada-e-Jammu and for lasting peace, freedom, and dignity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The exhibition featured powerful and poignant images portraying the harrowing tragedy of 1947 and the continuing suffering of Kashmiris in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The moving display served as a reminder of the indomitable spirit, courage, and resilience of the Kashmiri people, who, despite decades of oppression, remain steadfast in their quest for justice and self-determination.
