RAWALPINDI, Nov 06 (APP):The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) on Thursday held a condolence reference to honour the services of its former President, late Major (Retired) Amanullah Khan.
The event was attended by Dr Amjad Saqib, Founder and Executive Director of Akhuwat Foundation; Group Leader Sohail Altaf; RCCI President Usman Shaukat; Vice President Fahad Barlas; former presidents; former Senator Mian Atiq; representatives of Akhuwat Foundation including Lt Gen Faiz Jilani Malik, Junaid Farid, and Haroon Ihsan Piracha; Chairman ISE REIT; trade association representatives; Sheikh Hafeez; members of the executive committee; and numerous chamber members.
Speakers remembered Major (R) Amanullah Khan as a respected and dedicated leader who played a key role in strengthening regional linkages, promoting trade, and serving the community with compassion. They highlighted his contributions during crises, including floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters, reflecting his commitment to humanitarian work.
He was also remembered as a sincere colleague, loyal friend, and inspiring figure whose dedication to public service will remain a guiding example. Prayers were offered for the elevation of his soul and for patience and strength for his bereaved family.
