LAYYAH, Nov 06 (APP):Sanawan police have busted a dacoit gang and arrested three criminals besides recovering looted valuables from their possession.
In line with special directives of the District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah, the Sanawan police under the supervision of DSP Muhammad Iqbal launched a special crackdown against criminals. The police busted the notorious Jeeka Gang and arrested three members of the gang including the ring leader Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Suleman and Muhammad Khurram.
The police have also recovered looted valuables including one motorcycle, weapons and cash Rs 200,000 from their police by tracing various cases.
Further investigations were underway from the arrested criminals and more recoveries were expected from them, police sources added.
