SUKKUR, Nov 06 (APP):A powerful awareness session on “National Integrity” was held at the Auditorium Hall of Sukkur IBA University, with Commissioner Sukkur Division, Abid Saleem Qureshi, as the chief guest here on Thursday.
The session aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and moral responsibility in the younger generation.
In his address, Commissioner Qureshi emphasized that national integrity is the foundation of a prosperous and sovereign state. He urged the students to abide by the country’s laws and highlighted the importance of unity in the face of evolving challenges.
“The youth are not merely the future of this nation, but also its present,” he said. “Your energy, integrity, and dedication to moral principles are crucial for building a strong, developed, and united Pakistan,” he added.
Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Asif Ahmed Sheikh echoed the Commissioner’s views, emphasizing the key role of educational institutions in character building. He reiterated the university’s commitment to producing skilled professionals and responsible citizens with high moral character.
The responsibility of higher educational institutions goes beyond maintaining academic standards, he said. We must build character among students and instill in them a spirit of unity and patriotism, he added.
The session concluded with the VC expressing gratitude to the Commissioner for his visit and for inspiring the university’s students to uphold national integrity and patriotism.
