PSW launches digital learning platform for cross-border trade

LAHORE, Nov 06 (APP):The Pakistan Single Window (PSW), the country’s digital platform for cross-border trade, has launched its first dedicated online learning platform,
‘Trade Lab’, aimed at equipping entrepreneurs, startups and businesses with knowledge
and skills to navigate international trade and comply with customs and regulatory
requirements.
Developed in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) with funding received from the Centre for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), this initiative aims to equip entrepreneurs, startups, and businesses with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of international trade in the digital era and enhance their customs and regulatory compliances.
Highlighting the initiative, PSW CEO Aftab Haider said, “The launch of ‘Trade Lab’ is a strategic leap in our mission to drive digital transformation in Pakistan’s trade ecosystem. By providing accessible, expert-led online training, we are building capacity, enhancing competitiveness and shaping a more efficient, transparent as well as inclusive future for Pakistan’s economy.” The PSW plans to expand the platform in collaboration with government training institutes such as the Customs Academy, the Federal Board of Revenue, and Pakistan Institute of Trade and Development, Ministry of Commerce, to further support traders, government officials, and logistics providers, the CEO added.
Aftab Haider said this initiative also promotes inclusive participation, supporting women entrepreneurs
and gender-responsive MSMEs by enhancing access to trade information, digital tools, and capacity-building opportunities.
