Dera Ismail Khan , Nov 06 (APP):The Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) Dera Ismail Khan held its 20th Board of Directors (BoD) meeting, reaffirming its commitment to raising the standards of municipal services across the city.
The session, chaired by Naimatullah Khan Gandapur, brought together senior leadership and technical experts to review progress, evaluate reforms and chart the company’s strategy for the coming months.
The meeting was attended by the CEO/Deputy Commissioner, Dera Ismail Khan, Abdul Nasir Khan, Additional Secretary, Finance, Ms Talat Fahad; Independent Director, Ms Tahira Yasmeen; and Company Secretary & Manager, HRA/Procurement, Mueen Ahmed.
Together, the board members offered insights into ongoing initiatives and discussed critical matters related to governance and operational enhancement.
A formal approval of the minutes from the 19th board meeting set the stage for an in-depth deliberation on preparations for the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Participants examined key policy measures, administrative improvements, and long-term strategies aimed at supporting WSSC’s mission of efficient and sustainable service delivery.
During the discussion, Chairman Naimatullah Khan Gandapur emphasized the importance of responsible governance and institutional strength.
“Our guiding principle is transparency and service to the public. We want every household in this city to feel the impact of improved water supply and sanitation services. WSSC will continue to uplift its systems and introduce reforms that benefit the community,” he stated.
Echoing the chairman’s sentiments, CEO Abdul Nasir Khan highlighted the momentum achieved by the organization.
