HARIPUR, Nov 06 (APP):Haripur City Police have successfully arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the murder of an 18-year-old youth on Railway Road.
According to police sources, on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Haripur, Farhan Khan, operations against criminal elements across the district are being intensified. The tragic incident took place within the jurisdiction of City Police Station, where 18-year-old Muhammad Munir was shot dead near Kashif Khan Market on Railway Road.
Following the complaint lodged by the victim’s father, a case was registered against the accused under sections 302, 109, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
SHO City Police Station, Rizwan Khan, along with his team, conducted a targeted operation and apprehended the suspects, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, son of Syed Iqbal Hussain Shah, resident of Bandi Sarya, and Shafiq Khan alias Kobra, son of Ali Khan, resident of Padhana Camp.
Police officials confirmed that further investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the murder and to trace any additional accomplices involved in the incident.
