QUETTA, Nov 05 (APP):Chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had enhanced the laptop quota for students and youth of Balochistan from 10,000 to 18,000.
He said that the federal government is utilizing all resources to provide opportunities to youth for getting technical education. He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of AI and cybercrime courses at Chagai DHA Quetta.
Chairman Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that the federation has a big role in skill training of the youth of the province, saying that the PMYP would be further expanded in the future.
Mr Rana said that this is his sixth visit to Balochistan this year, and the talent and ability of the children here have impressed him a lot.
He said that the youth of Balochistan need to be encouraged, our children have no shortage of talent, they need to be given opportunities for skills, IT and other fields.
The Chairman of PMYP said that the promotion of the agriculture sector is among the government’s top priorities, adding that recently, many children of Balochistan have obtained start-up loans.
He said that this year, two hundred billion agricultural loans would be given to the youth; the youth should deliver with full intention. In addition, a benchmark of twenty billion is being set.
He said that Young children all over Pakistan should benefit under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, the youth of Balochistan should also take advantage of this facility.
“The federal government will provide the kind of support and assistance they need, the state will stand behind talented and capable youth,” he said.
He said that after the success of the struggle for justice and Operation Banyan um Marsoos, the economy has recovered and the doors of the world have opened for Pakistan. Balochistan has vast business opportunities in the olive and mines and minerals sectors.
The Chairman of PMYP, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, said that the world is changing rapidly, and now the youth are becoming job creators by creating employment opportunities themselves.
He said that Pakistan is among the countries that have formulated an artificial intelligence policy. “While Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has increased Newtech funds, employment opportunities are open for Pakistan’s talented youth in the Middle East, Europe, Korea, Canada and the United States. We want to double foreign exchange in the next 3 years,” he mentioned.
He noted that the first e-sports policy is being introduced, there is no shortage of talent among the youth of Balochistan, and the Prime Minister Youth Program is trying to give a platform to these youth.
He maintained that Pakistan could progress if the federation and the provinces work together, we are consulting with the Chamber of Commerce for youth business and agriculture loans to defeat the enemy and equip our children with the wealth of knowledge and wisdom.
He said that Pakistani labor is needed in the FIFA World Cup in Saudi Arabia. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had inaugurated the Digital Youth Hub, on which 700,000 youth have registered, of which 70,000 youth belonged to Balochistan.
He said that the sense of deprivation could be removed by promoting tourism in Balochistan, saying that the previous regime handed Pakistan over to the IMF with tied hands and feet, but the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has saved the country from bankruptcy.
