KMU conducts 3rd Centralized Admission Test for Allied Health Sciences

PESHAWAR, Nov 05 (APP):Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar successfully conducted the third KMU Centralized Admission Test (KMU-CAT) for admissions in Pharm-D, DPT, BS Nursing, and various BS Allied Health Sciences disciplines.
The test was simultaneously held at 14 centers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, with a total of 8,559 candidates participating.
According to KMU officials, the results of the test will be announced within the next two to three days and will be available on the official KMU website: http://cat.kmu.edu.pk.
This third round of the test was organized especially for candidates who, for any reason, were unable to appear in the earlier sessions.
A total of 8,559 candidates appear across 14 centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
In Peshawar, 1,100 candidates appeared at Aliyar Wedding Hall, 650 at Marriage Gathering Hall, and 1,053 at Sabrina Banquet Hall. Other centers included Mardan (1,140), Dera Ismail Khan (342), Lower Dir (1,010), Upper Dir (144), Islamabad (143), Abbottabad (798), Kohat (362), Swat (908), Swabi (363), Buner (219), and Bannu (294).
The significant turnout of 8,559 candidates in the third phase of the test reflects the growing confidence of students in KMU and the university’s commitment to maintaining merit and improving the quality of allied health sciences education.
It is worth mentioning that the health sector functions as an integrated system where, alongside doctors, professionals from pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, and allied health sciences play a vital role.
The centralized admission process introduced by KMU is expected to provide bright and deserving students with equitable access to professional education opportunities and contribute substantially to enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services in the province.
