LAHORE, Nov 05 (APP):The 42nd meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) here Wednesday approved five development schemes amounting to Rs. 4.50 billion in various sectors.
Chaired by P&D Board Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf, the meeting approved the following schemes:
1.Project Management Unit (PMU) for Development of Mass Transit System at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,726.535 million.
2.Preservation, Restoration, Improvement, Management, and Upgradation of Derawar Fort at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,800 million.
3.Upgradation of 60-Bedded Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Kotli Sattian into 100-Bedded Hospital at an estimated cost of Rs. 966.866 million.
4.Developing the HR&MA Department’s Capacity and Increasing Awareness of Human Rights (position paper approved).
5.Enhancing Surveillance Capabilities at Special Education Schools (Phase-II) (position paper approved)
The meeting was attended by the Secretary P&D Board, Chief Economist, Members P&D Board, and representatives from relevant departments including Finance, Irrigation, Tourism, Health, Special Education, HR&MA, and others participated.
