Senate Committee delegation calls on KP CM

PESHAWAR, Nov 05 (APP): A high level delegation of Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination called on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi on Wednesday.
The delegation discussed a range of issues related to governance, economic cooperation and coordination among the provinces.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on matters including on free inter-provincial movement of wheat.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM underlined the need for mutual understanding and continued cooperation among provinces to find a lasting solution to the wheat supply issue.
Commending the role of the Senate Committee members, the Chief Minister described them as true representatives and ambassadors of the people of KP. He appreciated their efforts to promote inter-provincial harmony and strengthen the Federation through dialogue and coordination.
The delegation included Senators Dilawar Khan, Mohsin Aziz, Naseema Ehsan, Nasir Mahmood, Hidayatullah Khan, Niaz Ahmad and Musaddiq Masood among others. Adviser to CM on Finance Muzammil Aslam, Secretary Food Shah Mahmood and senior government officials also attended the meeting.
