FAISALABAD, Nov 05 (APP):A meeting regarding the administrative and security measures for the by-elections scheduled for November 23, was held here on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Nadeem Nasir and Regional Election Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Khan jointly chaired the meeting.
The security plan for the polling day, transportation and establishment of camp offices, suggestions regarding distribution and increasing the number of counters were discussed.
The participants also argued about the training schedule of polling staff, which is imperative for the successful conduct of by-election.
The Deputy Commissioner said that all administrative and technical issues should be reported immediately.
Additional Commissioner Imran Ismat Pannu, Assistant Returning Officers Muhammad Sarwar, Dilawar Khan, Rauf Ahmed and others participated in the meeting.
