HYDERABAD, Nov 05 (APP): The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad Adeel Chandio took strict notice after a video showing two passenger buses recklessly racing on city roads went viral on social media.
According to a police spokesperson, the video circulating online for the past two days showed the two buses attempting to overtake each other in a populated area. The SSP directed immediate action against those responsible for the dangerous driving.
Following the orders, SO market Inspector Azam Shah identified and seized one of the buses involved, and legal action was initiated upon serious violation of traffic laws.
After the police action, the bus owner Manzoor Khoso appeared before the traffic section and recorded a video statement apologizing to the citizens and Hyderabad Police, assuring that such violations would not be repeated in the future.
The SSP emphasized that all transporters and citizens must strictly follow traffic laws to ensure the safety of the public and prevent road accidents.
