BAHAWALPUR, Nov 05 (APP): At least one person died and three others sustained critical wounds in a road accident reported near Patrolling Chowki Sama Satta.
The official sources in the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) said that a speeding tractor hit a motorcycle which struck against another bike. “Resultantly, four persons riding the bikes suffered injuries,” they said, adding that one of the injured had succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
The Rescue 1122 officials rushed to the scene and provided the injured with first aid and shifted them to hospital for further medical treatment.
The deceased was identified as 50-years-old Luqman. The injured included 18-years-old Hashim and 30-years-old Parveen. The local police have been investigating the incident. Further probe was in process.
