KARACHI, Nov 05 (APP):The Country Director Ausaf Group of Mauritius visits PIMEC and offered to build International Financial Center (ECIFC) in Karachi Education City with an investment of over 200 million US dollars.
Secretary Investment Sindh Raja Khurram Shahzad, Project Director Karachi Education City Abrar Sheikh and Additional Secretary Investment Behzad Memon welcomed Country Director of Ausaf Group for investing in Karachi Education City.
The Country Director of Ausaf Group also visited the Karachi Education City pavilion set up at Expo Centre during Pakistan Maritime Exhibition and Conference.
Ausaf Group has expressed keen interest in working with the Education City Board, Government of Sindh for the development of the Karachi Education City project and has offered to build a large-scale project in Karachi Education City.
Under the proposed project, an International Financial Center (ECIFC) will be established in Education City, which includes a convention center, four and five-star hotels, shopping malls, dynamic pizzas, multi-purpose sports stadium and corporate towers.
Additionally, Ausaf Group has also shown interest in developing low-cost housing in Education City for the workers involved in the project.
Speaking on the occasion, Project Director Karachi Education City Abrar Sheikh said this effective proposal of Ausaf Group will help transform the Karachi Education City project into a vibrant hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.
He said that this proposed project also reflects Ausaf Group’s strong commitment to partner with the Government of Sindh.
The Chief Executive Officer Sindh Enterprise Development Fund Khizar Pervez, Admin Officer Karachi Education City Adnan Sheikh and other officers were also present on the occasion.
