FAISALABAD, Nov 05 (APP):The Faisalabad Development Authority has provided relief to 2,187 applicants through a one-window counter facility during the last 10 months.
As many as 130 applications were redressed during the month of October while 66 are in pipeline in various sections of the authority.
This was informed in a meeting held to review performance of one-window counter facility in the chair of Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry.
Chief Engineer Mehra Ayub, Director IT Yasir Ijaz Chatha, Directors Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, Deputy Director IT/Incharge One Window Counter Abdullah Noor and other officers were present on the occasion.
It was informed during the meeting that 1213 applications were addressed by the Estate department Management-I, 706 were resolved by Town Planning-I and 203 applications by Town Planning-II. The action was also taken on 65 applications of Katchi Abadies.
The numbers of applications were about approval of commercialization and building plans of residential and commercial buildings, transfer of properties, ownership clearance certificates, TP reports, issuance of NOCs, encroachments etc.
The DG FDA expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the one-window counter and directed to ensure implementation of reforms regarding the use of modern technology to further improve the service delivery.
