ISLAMABAD, Nov 05 (APP): The National University of Modern Languages (NUML) signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with SysReforms International, Shaoor, and Ezitech Institute to strengthen academia-industry collaboration, enhance student employability, and promote innovation and entrepreneurship.
The MoUs were signed by Brigadier Muhammad Rafiq Khan, Director General NUML, along with Brigadier Zafar Jamil, CEO SysReforms International, Mr. Jawad Janjua, Founder and CEO Shaoor and Ibrahim Shah, CEO and Founder Ezitech Institute, said a press release on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rector NUML, Shahid Mahmood Kayani emphasized that such partnerships play a vital role in equipping students with the skills and exposure needed to meet market demands and contribute effectively to Pakistan’s knowledge-based economy.
He further added that NUML is committed to expanding its industrial collaborations to ensure its graduates are professionally competent and ready for future challenges.
“The MoU with SysReforms International aims to jointly implement IT Bootcamps and develop commercial, market-driven training ventures that enhance employability and contribute to the growth of Pakistan’s IT exports. The collaboration will focus on areas such as training delivery, certification pathways, infrastructure and technology sharing, and research and innovation,” he said.

Under the MoU with Shaoor, a project of Al-Qawi Steel Industries, Dsportshub (Pvt) Ltd, and Superior Plastics (Pvt) Ltd, Islamabad, both parties have agreed to promote and carry out collaborative activities in areas of mutual interest.
Shaoor will facilitate NUML students and alumni by providing internships, placements, and job opportunities in the industry and corporate sector. It will also offer capacity development programs, while NUML, in collaboration with Shaoor, will take measures to promote an entrepreneurial culture among its students.
Similarly, the MoU with Ezitech Institute is designed to provide NUML students and alumni with industry exposure through internships and job placements. NUML will support Ezitech in identifying potential students for these opportunities and will work jointly for the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation on campus.
These partnerships mark another significant step in NUML’s ongoing commitment to bridge the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that its graduates are equipped not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the practical skills and professional mindset required to excel in today’s competitive job market.
