RAWALPINDI, Nov 05 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 144 kilograms of hashish during an intelligence-based operation in District Khyber, the Force’s spokesman said on Wednesday.
Acting on credible information regarding the presence of narcotics, a team of the ANF Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Station raided a dumping site where the drugs had been concealed among rocky terrain.
The spokesman said the consignment belonged to notorious drug traffickers hailing from the Afridi tribe.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, while further investigation is in progress.
