RAWALPINDI, Nov 04 (APP):Westridge Police have solved house robbery case, uncovering that the complainant’s cousin was behind the theft.
According to police, the suspect broke into the house in the absence of family members and made off with gold jewelry and foreign currency. The stolen items were later sold, and police recovered Rs3 million in cash along with gold jewelry worth over Rs1 million.
Initially, the complainant suspected a domestic servant, but when police expanded the investigation, it was revealed that the complainant’s cousin was the real culprit. The recovery was made following the suspect’s confession and identification.
SP Potohar praised the police team for their swift action and said that those who threaten citizens’ lives and property will not escape the clutches of law.
