SAU, Isra University sign MoU to strengthen academic and research collaboration

HYDERABAD, Nov 04 (APP): Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam and Isra University Hyderabad have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic and research cooperation between the two leading higher education institutions.
The agreement was formally signed during a special ceremony by the Registrar of Isra University Ghulam Rasool Kazi and Prof. Dr. Irfan Ahmed Shaikh from Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam.
According to a statement issued by the SAU spokesperson, the MoU seeks to establish stronger academic linkages, promote joint research initiatives and facilitate knowledge and expertise exchange between the two universities.
Under the agreement, Isra University will serve as a partner institution for the upcoming 2nd International Conference on Agricultural Engineering and Technologies (ICAET–2026), scheduled to be held on February 4–5, 2026 at SAU Tandojam.
The conference, themed “Issues and Way Forward under Changing Climate,” will bring together researchers, academicians, industry professionals and policymakers to discuss emerging challenges, innovative solutions and pathways for sustainable agricultural development.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Irfan Ahmed Shaikh, Principal Organizer of ICAET–2026, appreciated Isra University’s academic participation and research-oriented partnership, noting that such collaborations will open new avenues for mutual growth and innovation between the two institutions.
The event concluded with a joint commitment to strengthen academic partnerships, promote research excellence and foster innovation through collaborative programs, conferences and capacity-building initiatives.
