LAHORE, Nov 04 (APP):The Punjab University Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (IMME), Faculty of Chemical and Materials, actively participated in the “ChemStudio” segment at the Surpriseum of Lahore Science Mela 2025.
Under the mentorship of IMME Assistant Professor Dr. Ameeq Farooq, the team showcased more than 26 interactive demonstrations that highlighted the wonders of chemistry, materials science, and engineering innovations. Each exhibit was thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage hands-on learning, and connect classroom concepts with real-world scientific applications.
The demonstrations explored a broad spectrum of fascinating scientific phenomena, including Fake Blood, Hidden Message, Bleeding Heart, Combustion Reactions, Color of Copper Sulphate, Chemical Garden, Color of Fumes, Aluminum Can, Copper and Zinc Electroplating, Electrochemical Cell, Fruit Cell, Heating and Cooling Pad, Dehydration of Sugar, Bubble Formation, Conductor–Semiconductor–Insulator Materials, Non-Newtonian Fluid, Polarization of Light, Glowing Copper Coil, Brass Layer on Copper, and Fingerprint Identification.
The event brought together scientists, educators, and students from across the province in a shared celebration of scientific discovery, creativity, and innovation.
