FAISALABAD, Nov 04 (APP): Two retailers dealing in edible goods were arrested on Tuesday for violating the Price Control Act.
According to official sources, Price Control Magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum conducted 35 inspections across various markets and bazaars to monitor the prices of essential food items in Gulistan Colony, Millat Road, and Sheikhupura Road.
During these inspections, he arrested two shopkeepers, booked another, and imposed fines totaling Rs 50,000 on several other violators of the Price Control Act.
