The DC reviewed field operations in Bhumman and Lakhan Kay areas, where larvae were detected. Immediate spraying and marking of ten surrounding houses were carried out in response.
According to the briefing, anti-dengue teams are conducting weekly follow-up visits in every street and locality to ensure effective surveillance. He emphasized making weekly follow-up visits more effective and ensuring immediate action at identified hotspots. He urged citizens to report dengue-related complaints through the official helpline 0307-0002345 or via social media platforms.
“The district administration is striving with full commitment to realize Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of a dengue-free Lahore,” the DC said, adding that the performance of field teams is being continuously monitored.
