Federal cabinet approved inclusion of 35% women in labour force: Rana Mashood

QUETTA, Nov 04 (APP):Chairman of Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan on Tuesday said that the federal cabinet had approved the inclusion of 35 percent women in the labour force under the National Youth Employment Policy (NYEP).
He said that after the success of the struggle for justice and Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos, the economy has recovered and the doors of the world have opened for Pakistan, Balochistan has vast business opportunities in the olive and mines and minerals sectors.
He said this while talking on the occasion of his visit to the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry here.
Quetta Chamber of Commerce President Haji Ayub, Senior President Haji Akhtar Kakar, Chaudhry Naeem Karim, Khurram Shahzad, Journalists and others were also present on the occasion.
The Chairman of PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that the world is changing rapidly, now the youth are becoming job creators by creating employment opportunities themselves.
He said that Pakistan is among the countries that have formulated an artificial intelligence policy,
“While Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has increased Newtech funds, employment opportunities are open for Pakistan’s talented youth in the Middle East, Europe, Korea, Canada and the United States, we want to double foreign exchange in the next 3 years” he mentioned.
He said that the first e-sports policy is being introduced, there is no shortage of talent among the youth of Balochistan, the Prime Minister Youth Program is trying to give a platform to these youth.
Mr. Rana noted that Pakistan could progress if the federation and the provinces work together, we are consulting with the Chamber of Commerce for youth business and agriculture loans to defeat the enemy and equip our children with the wealth of knowledge and wisdom.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had increased the laptop quota for students and youth of Balochistan from 10,000 to 18,000,
Pakistani labor is needed in the FIFA World Cup in Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had inaugurated the Digital Youth Hub on which 700,000 youth have registered, of which 70,000 youth belonged to Balochistan.
He said that the sense of deprivation could be removed by promoting tourism in Balochistan saying that the previous government handed Pakistan over to the IMF with tied hands and feet, but the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has saved the country from bankruptcy.
In a response of question, he said that he would talk with Prime Minister to address related issues of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
On this occasion, President of Quetta Chamber of Commerce Haji Muhammad Ayub assured the federal government and the Prime Minister Youth Program of providing all possible support to the youth and women by making them skilled and providing them with employment and for economic stability in the country.
Later, the cabinet of Quetta Chamber of Commerce presented a souvenir to Chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan.
Earlier, President of Quetta Chamber of Commerce Haji Muhammad Ayub presented charter of demand.
