Attorney general calls on Acting President Gilani

ISLAMABAD, Nov 4 (APP): Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan on Tuesday called on Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.

In the meeting, the acting president underscored the pivotal role which the office of the Attorney General of Pakistan, being the Chief Legal Advisor to the government, plays in upholding the rule of law and ensuring swift dispensation of justice to cultivate democratic values.

The attorney general apprised the acting president about various reforms undertaken within his office, reiterating his full commitment to serve the nation.

Acting President Gilani reaffirmed to strengthen the legal and judicial system of Pakistan.
