CHINIOT, Nov 4 (APP):Provincial Minister for Communication and Works, Shoaib Ahmed Berth on Tuesday visited the city to review the ongoing dual carriageway project between Chiniot and Faisalabad.
He said the provincial government was taking steps to restore road according to vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal briefed the minister on the progress of the construction work.
Out of the 15-kilometer stretch from Pul Dhingro to Chiniot, 9 kilometers have already been completed.
The provincial minister directed that to complete remaining work by December 2025 and emphasized maintaining high-quality construction standards.
He added that the newly carpeted Chiniot–Faisalabad road would reduce travel distances and provide better transportation facilities to the public.
