LAHORE, Nov 03 (APP):A local court on Monday summoned renowned YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, and other co-accused for indictment in a case related to the promotion of an online gambling application.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo conducted the hearing, during which Ducky Bhai, Aroob Jatoi, Opi Baba, and Subhan appeared before the court and marked their attendance.
The court distributed copies of the challan (investigation report) among the accused and directed all of them to appear again on November 17 for the framing of charges.
It is pertinent to mention that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has already submitted the challan in the case to the court.
The NCCIA Lahore had registered a case, accusing Saad ur Rehman of offences under various provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 — including Sections 13 (Electronic Forgery), 14 (Electronic Fraud), 25 (Spamming), and 26 (Spoofing) — as well as Sections 294-B (Offering prizes for commercial purposes) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The FIR alleges that members of the public invested their earnings in gambling and betting apps, suffering financial losses. It claims that Ducky Bhai promoted platforms such as 1xBet, Bet365, B9 Game, and Binomo on his YouTube channel and reportedly served as a “country manager” for one of them.
