KP govt expands committee for tribal districts dialogue: Shafiullah Jan

PESHAWAR, Nov 03 (APP): Special Assistant for Information Shafiullah Jan stated that the province is facing a deteriorating law and order situation, particularly in the merged tribal districts.
He announced that the committee formed to address the issue has been expanded to include 37 members, emphasizing that the government believes dialogue is the only viable solution.
Talking to the media, Safiullah Jan confirmed that an All Parties Conference will soon be convened to consult with tribal elders, after which a comprehensive plan will be prepared and presented to the committee.
He noted that the second round of committee meetings is underway, with more sessions to follow.
The official assured that the provincial chief minister is fully empowered and all decisions will be made transparently.
He concluded by stressing that all major decisions for the province should be made by the party leadership and Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
