LAHORE, Nov 03 (APP): The Lahore High Court (LHC) has introduced new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in financial and administrative processes related to process fee collection and notice issuance.
Under the directives of LHC Chief Justice Ms. Aalia Neelum, the initiative seeks to modernize and digitize manual systems to ensure seamless tracking and monitoring of all transactions, says a press release issued here on Monday.
According to the new SOPs, process fee collection will be handled through a digitalized mechanism. The Treasury Officer will receive the prescribed fees from parties concerned, issue official receipts, and maintain accurate records. The newly developed software will also facilitate electronic notice issuance, process serving, and real-time tracking, supported by periodic audits to ensure compliance.
This step marks a major milestone in the LHC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional efficiency and promote transparency in judicial administration. By leveraging technology, the Court aims to streamline operations, enhance accountability, and provide litigants with improved, timely, and transparent services.
The Lahore High Court’s commitment to adopting modern practices underscores its resolve to build greater public trust and deliver justice in a fair, efficient, and transparent manner.
