BAHAWALPUR, Nov 03 (APP):Umeed-e-Sahar Pakistan, in collaboration with the IUB Flood Relief Cell, has successfully completed the second phase of its flood relief initiative by distributing essential supplies to the flood-affected families in Baqirpur.
During this phase, the organization provided 34 ration bags, four large bags filled with cartons of mineral water, and 75 hygiene kits to those in need.
Speaking at the event, Ahmed Shahzad, Chairman and Founder of Umeed-e-Sahar Pakistan, praised the role of Pakistan’s youth in times of crisis. He emphasized that the nation’s youth must always stand ready to serve, especially when disaster strikes. Shahzad also acknowledged the dedication and tireless efforts of the volunteers who played an integral role in the relief operations.
The volunteer team included Umar Javed, Abubakar Javed, Hassan Anis, Khuzayma Khurram, Fatima Javed, Ahmed Javed (Research Officer), Ahmed Imran (PR Officer), Haris Shahzad (Media Team Officer), Khadija Amin Sheikh (Head of Media, PR, and Outreach), Hamza Ali Haqi (Finance Secretary), and Burhan Ali (Secretary General).
Umeed-e-Sahar Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to supporting flood-affected communities and emphasized its ongoing mission to work toward a brighter and more resilient Pakistan. The organization continues to provide aid and relief to those who need it most, with plans to expand its efforts in the coming phases of the project.
