SUKKUR, Nov 03 (APP): Commissioner Sukkur Division Abid Saleem Qureshi, along with DIG Sukkur Faisal Abdullah Chachar and Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Manzoor Ahmed Kunrani on Monday reviewed the construction progress of the Ghotki-Kandhkot Bridge.
SSP Ghotki Anwar Khetran briefed the Commissioner and DIG on the security arrangements in place.
The Sindh Government has directed that the bridge’s construction be completed within the stipulated timeframe, and necessary measures are being taken to ensure this.
Commissioner Qureshi stated that the bridge’s construction will benefit thousands of people from both districts, boosting trade and commerce. He announced that a separate SP and DSP have been appointed to ensure strict security arrangements during the construction process.
DIG Sukkur Faisal Abdullah Chachar instructed police officials to take stern action against any elements attempting to disrupt the construction work. He described the Ghotki-Kandhkot Bridge as an excellent project by the Sindh Government, which will significantly reduce travel time.
Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Manzoor Ahmed Kunrani stated that the construction work is being closely monitored, and efforts are being made to maintain its continuity and complete it on time.
