MULTAN, Nov 03 (APP):Advocate Muhammad Iqbal Ansari, a Supreme Court lawyer and former Assistant Attorney General for Pakistan, lauded Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir for his unparalleled and decisive role in ensuring both political and economic stability in the country.
During a press conference, Ansari shared his extensive experience in political and social affairs in Multan, having held several key official responsibilities. He commended Field Marshal Asim Munir for uniting the nation’s leadership, addressing critical economic challenges, and enhancing Pakistan’s global standing.
Ansari noted that General Asim Munir was conferred the prestigious title of Field Marshal after successfully leading Pakistan in a brief but significant conflict with India. He drew a historical parallel, reminding the audience that 66 years ago, General Ayub Khan had also been awarded the title of Field Marshal. He further emphasized that General Asim Munir has played an instrumental role in the ongoing fight against terrorism and extremism, particularly in the battle against fitna-e-khawarij.
Highlighting the Field Marshal’s contributions, Ansari remarked that his economic and national services are invaluable, noting that he commands the trust and admiration of people from all walks of life.
The Advocate also paid tribute to the martyrs and ghazis of the Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies for their sacrifices in safeguarding the nation.
